YAML support

running v6.0.2

PHPStorm is supposed to have YAML support, and there are references in the docs, but neither the code style or file types in settings display any details on YAML. does it require a plugin?

My file structure on Windows:

\parent

\core

\includes

\sites (*symlink to ..\sites)

\sites

When the PHPStorm root (where .idea folder is created) is set to "\core", then debugging just doesn't work at all for breakpoints set in files in \sites folder.

When the root is set to "\parent", then IDE complains about multiple declarations and has problems with completion, member resolution and inheritance analysis of classes.

So, it doesn't work well either way.

XDebug - No option for "break at the first line"

I am using a trial version of PHPStorm 6.0.2 on Mac. The debugger is working great for me, except I really need to be able to turn off the "break at the first line" feature. However, the setting to do so is nowhere to be found. I searched these forums, and I don't see anyone mentioning the issue, so I'm wondering what I have wrong on my machine that I don't have this option.

When I go to Preferences -> PHP -> Debug, I have a Xdebug section. It has the following options:

- Debug port (set to 9000)

- Can accept external connections (checked)

- Force break at the first line when no path mapping specified (unchecked)

- Force break at the first line when a script is outside the project (unchecked)

To me this is a pretty serious issue, so I'm really hoping someone can help me out on this.

Debugging a Wordpress plugin with PhpStorm

Hi,

Downloaded PhpStorm today, to try to use it for work on a Wordpress plugin which is already up and running. The resulting site is deployed on my local machine. Using Windows XP Pro.

If I create a new project in the suggested "My documents" folder, and set its External Library to be the root Wordpress folder, then I get a nice indented listing under External Library, which includes my plugin files, and I can double-click them to open one. However, as someone else has noted, being an External Library this means that my javascript files in there can't be edited (and arguably it's technically a bug that my PHP ones can?). At least in this configuration the PHP is interpreted correctly.

If I now declare a Default Content folder (which is my own plugin folder, within wp-content\plugins), two bad things happen:

the indented list under External Library vanishes
the Wordpress environment is longer available, which means that when I open my main PHP plugin module I get a raft of parsing errors.

What I want to have is a project where my own plugin files (which sit, as they must, within the overall Wordpress framework) are available for editing, and where they are interpreted correctly in relation to the Wordpress environment.

I'm presumably doing (or not doing) something really dumb, but I can't see it. Any help gratefully received ...

WebStorm debugger don't wait on breakpoints

Please enable "copy" for all UI

Hi,

I am using Webstorm. However, I cannot copy the information from the user interface. For example:

1) I cannot copy the keymap settings from the preference. I want to copy all the settings to a document and print it.

2) When debugging application, I cannot copy the callstack("frame") information which is very useful and important information.

Microsoft visual studio support "copy" almost everywhere. How Webstorm can also support the "copy" feature.

Webstorm hanging up on load - Mac OSX

Webstorm has been working flawlessly for the past few weeks, and I recently purchased a license when my trial expired. Now Webstorm is hanging up everytime I open it and I have to force quit it to get it to close. I am not receiving any errors and I have tried uninstalling and clearing the application cache to no avail.

If anyone else has experienced this problem please let me know, I've grown somewhat dependent on webstorm now and this is seriously impacting my productivity.

Xml read problem

I have a problem with xml files. It just opens in one line. Something like that <body screen_capture_injected="true"><div id="webkit-xml-viewer-source-xml"><boxedpager><dvds><dvd><dvd_name>Double </dvd_name><dvd_id>123</dvd_id><content_format>1......

It's very difficult to read and PhpStorm begin to work very slowly.

How can I open xml files with formatting ? Maybe I can swith to anotger view type...or install some plugin.

PHPUnit from Composer: Require doesn't works

Hi Community

Since hours i'm searching for a solution for this problem, but I have no clue what's wrong.

I've added PHPUnit from the composer. Normal tests without any external classes are working perfectly fine.

As soon i include a needed class, the hole test doesn't work anymore.

Here the example:

If I uncomment the require_once statement, I get an exite code 255.

Hint: If I put the exactly same require_once in to test.php (NOT a PHPUnit test!) it also works fine..

No Idea guys... Hope somebody has an idea..

UPDATE:

Not it's gettint weird... When I call the test from the Terminal IT WORKS??

ugly fonts in PhpStorm Linux version

Hello!

I use last licenced PhpStorm on Windows and I try switch to Linux. I choose Ubuntu 13.04 and Oracle Java 7. I find what fonts in PhpStorm under Linux is very ugly, without antialiasing. I try many fonts and cant find good for me. Monospaced using by default in Windows version of PhpStorm is very ugly in Linux version, Ubuntu font looks good in Ubuntu but ugly in PhpStorm. There is a solution for this problem?
