dot Trace 4 EAP evaluation issue

Hi.

I've installed dot Trace 4 nightly build and at the end of install wizard I was warned that I can have 10 days of evaluation if I haven't used them for this version of dotTrace earlier..

I have used them for version 3.1, however, and when I tried to launch dottrace - i found that "Evaluate" option is disabled on "dotTrace License Information" dialog..

However when I've tried to execute profiling from within VS - profiling configuration appeared as well as dotTrace Porfiler Session started. After clicking Get Snapshot - and waiting for "Saving snapshot" process to finish I've finally got License enquery window again with "Free evaluation not available"..

 

Am I doing sth wrong? Or the EAP is not yet officially started?

 

BTW in Edition combobox: Proffesiona; option is misspelled..

Hi,

 

  That's true, EAP has not officially started yet - we are still patching some holes, including proper license handling.

Does this mean we can't actually run dotTrace 4.x?

The latest nightly build has free evaluation enabled, so no worries - please use the build.

I have similar problem with dot Trace 5 EAP. The latest build 1004 says "Free evaluation not available". Has free evaluation been enabled for dot Trace 5.0 Performance Nightly builds?
