How can I create a branch in svn using only IDEA?

Hi all,

         I have seen that it is possible to integrate and configure branches of svn in a project of IDEA, but I dont know if there is any easy way to create branches in svn using only IDEA?

are you talking about button "Branch or Tag" ?

What do you mean by "create branch"?

 

create empty folder?

why? what's the purpose of "having empty branch"?

 

usually by "create new branch" we mean "start branch based on working copy" or "start branch based on other branch (or trunk)"

in IDEA button "Branch or Tag" is used to do these both things
