How does IntelliJ compare?

Does IntelliJ Ultimate include everything that Astella has?  My basic question is if I already have a license for IntelliJ do I need Astella too?

thanks,

John

Re: How does IntelliJ compare?

I assume that, at the moment, IntelliJ includes eveything in Astella, with the profiler and UI designer available as separate plugins.

The mean idea is to offer a cheaper, more focused package, similar to RubyMine or PhpStorm (which are still available for the "flagship" IntelliJ product as separate plugins).

Hi all,

Please find answers at http://confluence.jetbrains.net/display/AS/Astella+FAQ. Astella package includes Perforce integration.

Kirill
