Dot Trace Memory 3.5 x64 crashes when I try a memory dump or get snapshot

This is only happening on the app I'm trying to profile.  In fact I know there is a memory leak in the app because I can see memory build up in the task manager for this process.

I downloaded the trial version of Dot Trace Memory specifically for this purpose, have never needed this before, but I can't even use this app for whatever reason.

The event viewer offers nothing of importance, just said the app crashes (the app I'm trying to profile) with no informatnion on what is crashing (other than the clr).

Any suggestions?

The app I'm trying to profile feeds a high stream data feed from a serial port to a WPF app.

Hi Mark, unfortunately it's a known issue of dotTrace Memory 3.5. It will be fixed in next version.
