When editing a HTML file the words get enclosed as tags

Hi,

 

I have jetbrains 5 for Linux and when I am editing a HTML file (converted from a docx) when I am editing the contents the words get enclosed in < and >

 

Ex.

 

<title>foo and bar<title>

 

becomes

<title><foo> <and> <bar></title>
