Hello. Do you plan on ever making a 64 bit version of Webstorm for windows?
For even a mildly large project, I always run out of memory even with all the memory settings cranked up in the .vmoptions. This is annoying because the inspection then seems to become so frustratingly slow, even on Webstorm 7.
You can do it manually now:
1. Create WEBIDE_JDK environment variable and point it to JDK7 64bit installation.
2. Copy WebStorm.exe.vmoptions file to WebStorm64.exe.vmoptions file
3. Open WebStorm64.exe.vmoptions file. If there is a line: -agentlib:yjpagent=... change it to -agentlib:yjpagent64=...
4. Start WebStorm via webstorm.bat
In addition, if anyone's interested in running this without the console output, change the %JAVA_EXE% variable to use javaw.exe instead of java.exe.
Edited to add: You might also need to change this line:
"%JAVA_EXE%" %ALL_JVM_ARGS% -cp "%CLASS_PATH%" %MAIN_CLASS_NAME% %*
to include start "" at the beginning a la:
start "" "%JAVA_EXE%" %ALL_JVM_ARGS% -cp "%CLASS_PATH%" %MAIN_CLASS_NAME% %*
Thanks very much. That all works fine.
The last thing that's missing is the possibility to change the icon of the link to WebStorm.bat to the same icon that WebStorm.exe has.
Does anybody know how this can be achieved?
