Remove unused references removes references that are dependencies of used nuget packages

We are using the following:

JetBrains ReSharper 8.0.1 Full Edition

Build 8.0.1000.2286 on 2013-09-05T16:18:00

#1. “NuGet support for ReSharper” v1.3.0.3356 by JetBrains

Visual Studio 10.0.40219.1.

When we use the Remove Unused References it removes project references that are dependencies of used nuget packages. Once this is done you have to uninstall the nuget packages and then re-install them to get the references back.
Will this be fixed in the next Resharper?

We are looking into this as part of the nuget plugin: https://github.com/JetBrains/resharper-nuget/issues/3

Is this plugin still supported? How come it is not integrated into resharper already or supported as official extension through the Extension Manager.

The plugin is deprecated, as the functionality has been rolled into the main product: https://github.com/JetBrains/resharper-nuget#deprecated However, the remove unused references feature still doesn't take nuget packages into account.
